Turn Your iPhone 4 Into A Camera – Literally – With A UN01

We can’t wait to try out the UN01 here at TheAppWhisperer.com. It is a simple but a fantastic idea of course. The UN01 consists of a functional cover designed to bring to life the iPhone 4 as a camera. The 2.5mm thick (or 1/10 of an inch thick) ABS & PC plastic shell offers durability and protection and will have a high reflective polish finish. A raised camera lens bezel design conceals the locking mechanism that keeps the cover secure, and the neck straps place the camera at a convenient location for instant access.

For the enthusiasts seeking that distinctive design, a Kickstarter Special Edition featuring a laser etched surface design is available. And, to complete the kit with a truly distinguished and refined touch, a Serialized Lazer Engraved Aluminum Bezel as a replacement to the normal locking ring is available.

To start producing this product in mass, the company behind it, UN Design, need some funding. They need to reach $23,000 by April 21st, 2011 – currently they have $283 – so a way to go yet.

If you would like to learn more about this camera case or even place a pledge, go here – we certainly think this is a deserving cause.
