Top 10 HDR iPhone Photography Apps

Having spent most of the morning yesterday at Nikon’s PR Event in Covent Garden, London for the D5100 product launch, I couldn’t help but compare all the ‘special effects’ mentioned with some of the incredible iPhone photography apps available. It is amazing that despite a 16.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and 1080p video recording mode plus Nikon’s incredible build quality that that’s not enough these days.

Even Nikon are recognising that themselves and have packed out their latest DSLR with special effects, including monochrome night vision, HDR, tilt-shift etc. We’re not suggesting that the iPhone is a match for a DSLR but as we all know the best camera is the one that’s with you and by the look of some of these iPhone apps I think you’ll find some of the images you can create, possibly comparable. Take a look at these, our top 10 HDR iPhone apps.

iCamera HDR

iCamera HDR equips you with a full palette of features helping you shoot the best, sharpest photos achievable on the iPhone. How does iCamera HDR do it? Using the full range of HDR Capture modes (auto, manual, rapid, normal) as well as image stabilization and the iPhone’s LED as an additional light source.

iCamera HDR uses full 32-bit HDR processing workflow, a range of digital photography post processing functions and awesome photo effects all in one app. This is also the easiest app to produce the results you, your friends and family will love. It works with photos taken by your iPhone, as well as those already in your Camera Roll from other sources.
