TOONDRA

media_1315341589369.png

eType Factory today is pleased to introduce TOONDRA 1.0.1 for iOS and Android, their free, tri-lingual Comic Book Reader, Library, and online Store. Featuring the highest quality Korean comics in English, Korean, and Chinese, many comics allow switching between languages. The online Store features the following categories: New, Hot, Free, Action, Drama, Comedy, and Adult & Other. Comics may be previewed free, and once purchased, re-downloaded at any time. The Reader automatically scans panels from left to right, and the size of each panel is automatically optimized to fill the screen. While the Reader itself is not a Universal app (optimized for smooth display on all iOS devices), the comics are in vector graphic format, so all text and art display perfectly on any size screen in both portrait and landscape orientation.

The animated transitions between panels add momentum to the narrative; users no longer need to scroll down a long page to locate a panel. The reader just touches the right edge of the panel to go forward one frame or the left edge to go backward. Touching the center brings up the control panel that allows moving directly to the first page. The app automatically moves from panel to panel, moving down and flush left when it reaches the right edge of the page. User Settings control the animation, manual operation, and Library organization.

Feature Highlights:
* Reader function provides automatic movement to the next pane by touching the screen
* Panes may be flipped and sized according to preference in landscape or portrait orientation
* Many titles permit changing the language while reading
* Purchased comics may be re-downloaded at any time
* Library may be arranged by series or language
* Continual reading and bookmarking functions
* Preview both free and paid comic books
* Built-in title search function
* Readers may leave comments for the author and interact with other users

The search feature allows the user to search based on several different categories.

This newest app joins AdsFactory’s OQHRA Race Season App for the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association as its 2nd Quarter Horse oriented app available in the app store along with an Android Smartphone Mobile Web Version.

"A key feature to the Sale Catalog App is actually a product of it’s internal design. We developed this app with ranches and sale companies in mind with an emphasis on reusing the app shell to rapidly bring any sale to the app store within 10 days. This is achieved by first receiving the sale consignment files (InDesign, PDF, etc…) from the ranch or sales company. We then process these files through our internal systems and extract the text data, image objects and convert those into a format we can use within our apps." explains Steve Maddox, app developer. "Using this process, we can simply customize the app’s look and feel to be consistent with the ranch or sales company’s branding while allowing the flexibility to handle multiple or past sales simultaneously. While having the AndroidSmartphoneMobile web version online within a matter of days while the iPhone app is waiting approval in the app store which typically takes 7 or so days."

The Sale Catalog App is available with several flexible pricing models. The models range from simple per-head fees to a model which can provide the customized and branded app to the ranch or sale company at no cost. One option allows the ranch or sale company to allow consignors to directly promote their horses with additional comments, images and videos which are presented
to the app users when they view the selected horse’s profile.
