NB: We tested the free version, the paid for version is $2.99/£1.99 and comes with 5,000 stars which you can use to purchase game items and customise your character further. With the free version, you can purchase additional items at any stage within the app.

What Is It?

This is the Official London 2012 Olympic Games for your iPhone/iPad. It must be noted though that this game is incompatible with iPod Touch, iPhone 3GS or earlier and the first generation iPad.

Is It Easy To Use?

Yes and it comes jam packed with content. You start by creating your own character, choosing gender, hair color and ability levels, there are actually 220 items to customize your character with. You can choose to represent your own country or anyone elses. You will then discover that there are 9 Olympic events to compete in, these include 100M hurdles, 100M freestyle, double trap, triple jump, pole vault, 100 m butterfly, kayak and archery.

You can train your character to help gain strength, speed and technique, in fact there are three gaming modes, Training, Olympic and Challenge. In the Challenge mode you can challenge your Facebook friends or compete in-game challenges.

 

Is It Fun?

Oh yes, most definitely, in fact we think once you start playing this app you will have great difficulty trying to stop. It is very addictive and exciting, just really entertaining.

Is It Pretty?

Very much so, the graphics are tremendous and that just adds to the enormous play and entertainment value of this game.

Should You Download It?

Yes absolutely, you must, we haven’t heard from one person yet that hasn’t been impressed with this app. We are sure you will love it.
