Layover – Our Daily App Giveaway

Welcome once again to our Daily App Giveaway section of theappwhisperer.  We value our readers so much and that’s why we want to share our love of apps with you. Each day we give away free apps, better make us your home page 😉

We broke the news two days ago that the developers of Diptic, Peak Systems had brought out a new iPhone photography app, Layover. Already, it is proving to be very popular in the Apple App Store. Layover is a fun photography app that lets you blend the colors, textures and images of up to five pictures to create a single image that you can share with your friends and family. So, we are delighted to offer this app to our readers in our Daily App Giveaway. Each is worth $0.99/£0.69.

You can read more about this app below but would you like to try this app for free? If so, like us on Facebook (see bottom of home page), join our ever expanding Twitter followers, RETWEET THIS POST and send a reply to the bottom of this page telling us what you love most about theappwhisperer.com. We will select winners at random from the selection of codes that we have and send them directly to your email box.

• Blend up to five images: Once images are imported, you can quickly change the order of the photos via drag and drop. You can also delete layers by performing a tap-and-hold to bring up the red “-” buttons.
• 15 blend effects (Multiply, Screen, Layover, Soft Light, Hard Light, Color Dodge, Color Burn, Addition, Difference, Darken, Lighten, Hue, Saturation, Color and Luminosity).
• Canvas is square by default, but portrait/landscape at 3:2 and 4:3 ratios are available.
• The Mask feature lets you erase specific parts of pictures to isolate different elements, remove the background, let different layers show through, etc. Use the Mask slider to control how dramatic or subtle you want the erase marks to appear, and then swipe your finger across the areas you would like to erase.
• Send to social networks, such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr or Tumblr.
• Save to camera roll or send to email.
• Use a base layer of any color of the rainbow to add filtering to just one image.
• Use photos from your camera roll, Photo Stream, or take a photo on the fly.
• Zoom and Move Images: Easily zoom into a specific area of a photo, as well as move the image within the frame and rotate it to any angle.
