Tunepics – New Photography & Music Social Network – Tantamount to Instagram with Beats

Now this looks good, Tunepics is a brand new app and is the brainchild of Justin Cooke, founder innovate7 – an innovation agency based in London – it has been build by AKQA – a London interactive agency. This app has signed up some major support with the likes of Airbnb, AllSaints, Jamie Oliver, Paul Smith, will.i.am, Paul Smith, Tracy Anderson, All Saints, Starbucks, Beyonce and more.

So, what’s all the fuss about? Tunepics is a new social network that allows users to feature a song with each image they share within it. The songs originate from the Apple music store and are initially previews. If listeners decide they want to purchase the whole track, they can buy it within the app from iTunes and Tunepics will pick up an affiliate revenue sale.

Tunepics comes with some basic filters to adjust your image, if you so choose to do so within the app, weather effects as the second image below demonstrates. There is also a square cropping option.

To demonstrate your feelings towards a Tunepic there’s a colour palette and users select a colour to represent their level/effect of arousal. Selections include, Heartbroken, Hot, Excited, Jealous, Dreaming, Crying and more. There’s also a heart sign to ‘love’ the image and a comment section to add your definitive thoughts. Users are able to share a particular Tunepic they like into their own feed.

Tunepics is free, you can download it here and of course find our own profile too, come and join us.

The servers must be overwhelmed. Impossible to download or even find in iTunes here in United States. Maybe later.
