Huge congratulations to our APPart Color of the Day with Pantone Daily Challenge winner. Yesterday’s Color of the Day was Violet Quarts (18-1720) with the adjectives and nouns, ‘Endearing, Talented and Fair’. Many of you have already seen our new segment to our APPart column here at TheAppWhisperer, edited by Bobbi McMurry. We would like to inspire all mobile artists to create one image a day using the selected colour of Pantone’s ‘Color of the Day’ – see here (we will announce the colour each day). Congratulations To Moment Case – Funded with $693,435 KickStarter Campaign
Moment lenses have proved to be very popular for mobile photographers, last year their campaign was funded and the manufacturers have just closed their latest KickStarter Campaign for the Moment Case ‘that turns your iPhone 6 into an even better camera, with a shutter button, lens and strap attachment’ for a huge $693,435 – the pledged goal was $100,000! ExoLens – Professional Photography System for iPhone 6
I am very interested in this new professional lens system which comprises of two lenses – a 3x telephoto lens and a 165 degree wide angle lens – each screw into a machined aluminium bracket that literally slides onto your iPhone. Each bracket supports tripod mounts and selfie sticks/monopods with a 1/4″ -20 tripod mount. Each kit is also supplied with lens caps, lens hood for the telephoto lens and a microfibre cleaning and carrying pouch. This tutorial that will teach you how to start recording video as soon as you open the app. You’ll learn the basics of focusing and exposing and will be able to start shooting video right now. How To Select An Obituary Image
One of the many things I like to do is to read obituaries, not for any morbid gratification but because they are usually incredibly well written and have to encompass so much within a limited word count. Of course, the other key part to creating an obituary piece is selecting an image or more to accompany it.
