Joanne Carter – TheAppWhisperer Speaks at The Photography Show 2015 – Seminar 1 – SECOND Part – Case Studies

I have just published the first part of Seminar 1 of my talks at The Photography Show 2015 – if you missed that, please go here.  In the second part of Seminar 1 I focused on two case studies that I had created. I wanted to try to demonstrate to the audience the diversity of mobile photographers and artists of the world. I wanted to demonstrate the distinction of skills and also the motivation behind these artists, some are formally trained, some use mobile photography as a form of therapy. There’s a huge assortment but with one common denominator, the love of mobile photography and mobile art.

My first case study was of Armineh Hovanesian, she is very talented and has had a broad range of life experiences and these shine through in her imagery. My second case study was of Roger Guetta, a more formally trained artist and Professor of Theatre at Vanier College in Montreal, Quebec in Ontario.  Below you will see the scripts I had prepared for each and I expanded verbally on these to the audience. I also created a video showcase of a selection of their works and I played each one on stage at the Show.  I have attached these below for you to view.
