The Fusion camera analyses the scene to compute exposures and captures three bracketed photos instantaneously. The photos are then ‘fused’ together in the Fusion editor, taking the best exposed areas of each one, to create a beautiful final image.

This is also an area that cinematography is going with high dynamic range sensors. Kudos to East Coast Pixels and The AppWhisperer for pushing forward into this realm of photography!

TheAppWhisperer is always the place to find what’s new with iPhoneography. Great overview of this app. I have taken HDR with my DSLR but have not found an app that looks as extensive as this one.

I would say Joanne Carter’s TAW site. There is no other website on earth that has the amount of information about all aspects of mobile photography. Hands down!
TAW is the Kahuna of mobile photography.
Kahuna is a Hawaiian word, defined in Pukui & Elbert (1986) as a “priest, sorcerer, magician, wizard, minister, expert in any profession”.
East coast Pixels is a seasoned and terrific developer for mobile photography apps. I have all of their apps, and use one of them almost on a daily basis, except Fusion -HDR Camera. I am a big fan of HDR software and would love to have a copy of Fusion HDR camera. Thank you to the developers and Joanne Carter.
