Portrait of an Artist – ‘Dia de los Muertos’ – Challenge

Welcome to our second Portrait of an Artist Challenge. The theme of this challenge is ‘Día de los Muertos’. The main objective being to recreate through a portrait or self portrait, your interpretation of the Mexican tradition of Día de Muertos, which is celebrated on November 2nd. No Halloween allusions, please.  I think of this challenge as  a great opportunity to look into the difference of those two celebrations and get to know a little more about a very meaningful and beautiful tradition.

Please read the following instructions. The images that do not comply to this guidelines will not be considered:

All submissions must be posted ONLY to our specific Portrait of an Artist Flickr Challenge group – link here. Not to any other group from TheAppWhisperer. You will be able to add them to any other group of your choice after the challenge is over and the showcase presented.

We are looking for international interpretations of this particular subject.
