Mobile Photography and Art – A Picture’s Worth with Isabella Matthews from Perth, Western Australia

A Picture’s Worth‘… is where we ask mobile photographers that have created powerful mobile photography/art to explain the processes they took.

This includes their initial thoughts as to what they wanted to create, why they wanted to create it, how they created it, including all apps used and what they wanted to convey.

We also ask these incredible artists to explain their emotions and how the image projects those feelings. We have published a few A Picture’s Worth articles recently, if you have missed those – please go here.

In this ‘A Picture’s Worth’ today we asked Isabella Matthews to tell us more about his image featured.  Matthews has detailed her thoughts below, we think you’ll find this invaluable…

“This shot was taken with Hipstamatic I started a 365 project only using the Hipstamatic app for this year as I live so far away from family it’s ideal for me to be able to share my life with them through my pictures and share with everyone else my love for Hipstamatic

– the beaches here are gorgeous I love how peaceful it is and calming it instantly relaxes me Hipstamatic is my number one app especially since it’s update I’ve made many combos of my own and look forward to reflecting back at the end of the year and get a photo book done – As I’m lucky enough to to live in such a gorgeous place I love the fact I can share with so many people through my mobile photography”.
