    Artists Corner – BiiAM Exhibtion – The Process

    Sean Hayes one of our wonderful contributors recently created the BiiAM Exhibition to iPhone photography in Belgium. It was an outstanding success and we asked Sean if he could tell us more about ‘the making of’ the Exhibition. Sean went further than that, he created a short video, that we have published below. It offers a great insight into the process of hosting an exhibition and is a great learning experience. Sean also wanted us to mention Thérèse Cherton and Robert Buckley as fellow organisers of this exhibition and their contribution and commitment was outstanding.     ArtQuest Olympus InVision Festival With Dan Marcolina

    The 2012 Olympus InVision Photo Festival will run for three days and include dynamic photo exhibitions, presentations and workshops by esteemed photographers including Dan Marcolina. In Dan’s presentation he will talk about “app-stacking” and how to take iPhone images to a whole other galaxy. Signed copies of Marcolina’s iPhone Obsessed: Photo Editing Experiments with APPS, published by Peachpit Press, will be available for sale at the presentation.     Third Annual P1xels Global Exhitibition – THE THIRD WAVE – OPEN CALL For Submissions

    This is an OPEN CALL For Submissions for the P1xels Third Annual Global Exhibition, THE THIRD WAVE. This year, P1xels are exhibiting prints and digital images, or both, depending on location. This show will run in three cities, Berkeley, New York, and Bremen, Germany, for a combined running time of four-and-a-half months.     “Strawberry fields. Memories of childhood” – iPhoneography Exhibition – FotoLoft gallery

    There’s a new iPhoneography exhibition at the Fotoloft Gallery, in Moscow, Russia between 2- 23 August 2012. The main idea of the exhibition – a look at the world through the eyes of a child – was continued in cooperation with the Charitable Foundation to support children with special development founded by the Russian actors Xenia Alferova and Yegor Beroev “Ya est.” (means “I’m exist”). All proceeds from the sale of photographs will be sent to this Charitable Foundation to help autistic children. This event looks like it is going to be fabulous. You can read more about it here.
