Apple iPhone 5 On Its Way And iPhone 4 Coming To Verizon
WSJ quotes ‘one person familiar, said the fifth-generation iPhone would be a different form factor than those that are currently available’, well my bet it is something to do with the positioning of the antenna. So, although not massively surprising considering that Apple launch a new iPhone every year around May/June time. What is also interesting though is the news that Apple are soon to start the production of a CDMA-compatible iPhone – meaning it will be suitable for the Verizon network and should be available early 2011, more below… This news means Apple will be ending the exclusive deal they have currently had with AT&T since 2007, as Verizon…

Apple Is Killing The Mobile Phone Business
According to a report in Fortune today, they state that despite Apple being the most profitable mobile company, this has come about largely due at the expense of Nokia, Sony Ericcson, LG and Motorola. Asymco’s Horace Dediu who put this data together said, "Will Android change this picture?" he asks rhetorically. So what do all these stats mean? Does it mean perhaps that the Android and WebOS Facebook apps are no good? Certainly there have been many comments supporting this or is something to…

Sexual Activity By Smart Phone Brand
okCupid have some excellent data on their site, with their latest chart, apparently, when compared to users who post pictures from other smartphone brands, users who reported using iPhones for their profile pictures tend to identify more sexual partners over all. As you can see in the chart below, male and female iPhone users report higher numbers of sexual partners to OkCupid. Excel – Plot by Age… Now, I wonder if they can devise a chart on users of specific apps having more sex – what do you think?
