We all know this! ‘Women Make It Happen’.  They are change makers, leaders, educators, and natural-born entrepreneurs. They lead by example and inspire entire generations. This year, the Trust Women Photo Award celebrates inspirational women who take the lead to further their families, communities and society at large.

Photographers and photojournalists are invited to submit images capturing the lives and stories of remarkable women around the world, who are achieving incredible things in their communities.

One selected photo will be showcased at the Trust Women Conference on November 9-10, 2015 in London. It is the annual international event organised by the Thomson Reuters Foundation and dedicated to the advancement of women’s rights and to the fight against human trafficking.

Microsoft and Thomson Reuters Foundation are partnering Talenthouse, the global community of artists, to empower photographers with a series of career opportunities as part of this year’s Trust Women Photo Award.

Photographers around the world are invited to submit images which best capture the lives and stories of extraordinary women achieving incredible things in their communities.

Talenthouse is dedicated to empowering creatives around the world to make ideas happen by providing them with opportunities to collaborate with major brands, and receive financial rewards and global exposure for their work.

The Selected Artist, as chosen by a judging panel which includes Finbarr O’Reilly, Reuters photographer and World Press Photo winner, will have their photography showcased in London at the Trust Women Conference, the annual international event organised by Thomson Reuters Foundation which is dedicated to the advancement of women’s rights and the fight against human trafficking and slavery.

As well as having their photograph showcased at this year’s Trust Women Conference, the Selected Artist will be awarded the esteemed Trust Women Photo Award, featured in an interview published on the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s award-winning website trust.org, and have their photography showcased across the social channels of Thomson Reuters Foundation, Trust Women, and Microsoft. The Selected Artist will have the opportunity to further boost their career prospects with an all-expense paid trip to a Mobile Journalism training course, and have their portfolio reviewed by the ThomsonReuters Foundation multimedia team.
