Ones that we feel are relevant to your interest in photography and art. Just to explain the title for this section ‘Tickle Your Fancy’ is an English idiom and essentially means that something appeals to you and perhaps stimulates your imagination in an enthusiastic way, we felt it would make a great title for this new section of the site. We really hope you enjoy these articles over…

Female Group Naked Professional Photographic Sessions – Next Big Thing! (Apparently)
Well this is interesting, for many reasons, actually… PetaPixel have run a story relating to group female boudoir shots being the newest professional photographic trend. It involves your closest female friends, ones that you may love dearly but not necessarily want to ‘get sexy with’. But is seems that groups, hoardes even, of women want to combine stripping naked with friendly group boudior photographic sessions. I mean, there are lines, aren’t there? And I don’t just mean the wrinkles, love handles and the like, I mean the ‘invisible lines’, boundaries even? It seems that ‘getting sexy’ with your girlfriends in the interests of photography is all the ‘go’ and we’re…

In Need Of A Good Laugh Today? – Read/View This – Time Travel With Mobile Photography
I love this story, one woman, Flora Borsi has the most fabulous sense of humor that I totally adore. She has photoshopped herself photographing iconic moments of our time within the frame. There are images of her shooting The Beetles, Marilyn Monroe, Andy Warhol, Elvis Presley and more. Most of the captures are of her with a mobile phone but some depict other cameras too, none detract from the total hilarity of the concept though. Take a look at the images below and see if you can spot Flora. To learn more about Flora Borsi and to view her complete ‘Time Travel’ work, go here. via Petapixel …

Muscular Dystrophy Doesn’t Stop Boy Going On An Imaginary Photographic Adventure
I think this is an inspiring and uplifting photographic essay of a young boy with muscular dystrophy, allowing him to visualize himself in situations that he would physically love to be in. I am also well aware that some may also find it distasteful. This photo essay was complied by photographer Matej Peljhan who photographed 12 year old Luka, a sufferer of muscular dystrophy to create some really exciting and imaginative images, depicting him doing things that he unfortunately cannot physically but mentally he so wants to. The photographer spent a long time with Luka and it was during those conversations that he discovered how Luka would like to visualise himself,…

Professional Portraiture With An iPhone
We were intrigued to read a recent article on PetaPixel in which they featured Philippe Echaroux, a French portrait photographer. Philippe’s most recent project involved little more than an iPhone ,€10 lighting kit and Photoshop Touch for post processing and the results are really quite spectacular. You can read the full article on PetaPixel here and of course view the final image below and don’t miss the great video too.
