“@coeiphoneart Day 6, today’s choice is an image by @odinvadim – Vadim Demjianov. This snow scene looks like a Victorian postcard. It has been beautifully captured with a lovely soft light coming across the scene. To my eye there has been very little manipulation of the image apart I suspect the warm glow. I think this shows you don’t need lots of extra textures to have a great photograph. Well done.
@coeiphoneart Day7 street portraits are always popular and this one by @ilanaakoundi – Ilana Akoundi intrigues me I love the play of shadows on the wall. The added bonus is the person walking across the scene who has his hand up as if shading his eyes.
@coeiphoneart Day 8. Fascinating image by @dleibo – David Scott Leibowitz, so many stories and questions. The woman in the white dress helping her child climb around the wall, the guitar is it hers or does it belong to someone else we can’t see. The photographer is she taking a picture of them, or of the building. The woman sitting at the top of the steps, is she counting her money or sorting out things in her bag? And the man walking into the scene. A superb image.
@coeiphoneart Day 9 A superb monochrome image by @allophile_ – Joseph Cyr, I love the textures and strong lighting. The footprints coming across the picture breaking up the pattern in the sand where they meet up with the shadow which brings your eye back to the tufts of grass, then you start the journey again. A simple image but full of drama”.
