An editorial photograph is so much more than pixels or ink on a page. It is the result of a photographer’s ability to capture a critical instant in time, and an editor’s unique judgment giving it further impetus to reach their audience. The photographer’s mission is to bring each and every situation to life in a way that empowers a publisher to impart a deeper understanding of the world to their readership. Getty Images are proud to bring you this year in review from their award winning team of photographers.
