Digital Camera World is quite an interesting magazine and we we came across an article over the weekend packed with famous photographers tips. We’re going to publish one each day, they’re not mobile but have a broader reach. We think you’ll enjoy this.
The first one we’re going to mention is by David Doubilet, an incredibly talented and successful underwater photographer (and we all know how popular mobile water photography is getting).

Perhaps the most important photography tip of all, whether in or out of water, David suggests you learn about light and study great images to learn how they were made.
One way of doing this is to visit galleries, museums etc, explore the artist behind them and note which images you are drawn to and try to discover why.

Joanne Carter is a British photographer, photography journalist, editor and curator and the founder and editorial director of TheAppWhisperer.com, an independent international photography publication established in 2009.Her journalism, criticism and commentary have appeared in The Times, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Financial Times, BBC, Vogue Italia, LensCulture, Popular Photography, Android Magazine, NikonPro, DPReview, Which Digital Camera and Which Camera.
