British Journal of Photography announces the shortlist for this year’s Portrait of Britain Exhibition

The annual Portrait of Britain exhibition will be taking place across the country in September, and today the British Journal of Photography has announced the 200 shortlisted images. The winning 100 images will be announced at the end of August in time for the launch of the exhibition, which opens on the 1st September. Each year Portrait of Britain takes place across JCDecaux’s network of digital screens with 100 portraits of the British public displayed in shopping centres and high streets up and down mainland UK.

We at TheAppWhisperer spend many hours each day, each week and each month to bring you this high quality level of journalism. We do it because we are passionate about it and because we want others to be as passionate too.
