Mobile Photography & Art Flickr/Instagram Showcase – 22 May 2022

Number 74 Tranquil Vale, Blackheath, SE3 was where I found myself yesterday afternoon and it was not only an escape from the blazing sun. I squelched down into the well worn leather armchair and faded into a another world, a world of tranquility. A world that includes old and rare books, maps, art and furniture, just opposite Blackheath common. It’s a world of bookworm heaven, colloquially known as ‘the best bookshop in London’. Curiosities are paraded in the window displays, with tooled leather bindings, caches of rare treasures. The shop flatters every good taste with rarities on open shelves. If you find yourself in London this year and this floats your boat, let me know and I will take pleasure in taking you there. It’s as devine a world as the one in which we inhabit with mobile photography and art, as you will see in the spellbinding showcase today… enjoy!

Thank you to all the talented artists for submitting your works to our showcase this week. If you would like your work to be considered for entry into our weekly Mobile Photography and Art Flickr showcase, please submit it to our dedicated group, here. Alternatively if you’re an Instagram user just tag your images with #theappwhisperer and we’ll pick you up.
