iPhone 4S Vs Canon 5D MKII Video Comparison
Well what a bizarre headline, I know that’s what you’re thinking guys and you’re right, who in their right mind would imagine for one minute that a 21 MP sensor could do better than a 8 MP smartphone – well, watch this video and prepare to be amazed.
The guys behind this film grabbed a Canon 5D Mark II and an iPhone 4S and mounted them on a rig for simultaneous shooting. Next they put the videos side by side for comparison purposes. They ensured they matched the exposure, shutter speed, frame rate (30 fps) and images style, as much as possible.
Now the iPhone 4S results look incredibly good not as good as the 5D MK II but that’s to be expected. These are the settings the ‘filmmakers’ used:
