What Apps Are We Using This Month? with Tiina Torna Sandblom

Welcome to TheAppWhisperer’s new section, “what apps are we using this month” series, where we discover which apps you are particularly enjoying. Kicking us off today is non-other than notable Mobile Artist Tiina Torna Sandblom.

Hi, I’m Tiina Torna Sandblom from Helsinki, Finland and I’m already on the better side of fifty. I work at an architectural office and a big joy on my travels is photography.

Joanne Carter invited me to respond to few questions regarding my editing app preferences so here we go: I started to take pictures with my iPhone XR few years back when I was on three months solo traveling in Spain.

To my eyes a gorgeous picture is not too edited rather than interesting with it’s point of view, leading lines, colours and light. All that I can better with Snapseed. It has the features I need and really easy to use.

After editing the last thing I do is crop the image with iPhone’s photo edit and check the vibrancy of the colours. I use all the qualities of the phone like long exposure and vertical panorama as well. I also take a LOT pictures from moving car to get the partial blur effect I want! With Snapseed it’s easy to edit those parts you want to sharpen afterwards.

Recently I have been enjoying double exposure edit to get some artistic vibe. With Snapseed you can choose different combinations how you want your photos to combine.
