MetroTimer
ONYX Apps today is pleased to announce MetroTimer 2.0 free for iOS, their Music app that provides the most accurate metronome function of any app in the App Store. Ideal for musicians at all levels of expertise, regardless of instrument or style of music, MetroTimer provides highly accurate audio and visual feedback, and it can be set to any number between 40 and 240 beats per minute. The app employs technology developed for their iKeepTime app, which measures a musician’s timekeeping abilities. A paid Pro version of the app adds complex rhythms.
There are many useful approaches to developing greater musicianship, but metronome practice is among the most valuable. MetroTimer is a free app that has been measured to be more accurate than any other metronome app for iOS. Most app store metronomes are derived from Apple sample code included with the iOS SDK (Software Development Kit). And regretfully, this code fails to account for all the factors that can cause small inaccuracies to build up over time. MetroTimer, created by a software company that specializes in time measurement and regulation, is guaranteed to meet laboratory standards for accurate timekeeping.

Mock Job Interview
Tap To It has developed a unique simulation of a real job interview in their new iPhone app called Mock Job Interview(TM). This app has a compilation of some of the toughest, most commonly asked interview questions and utilizes the iPhone’s built-in video recording feature to capture all aspects of the user’s answer to each question – everything from the answer itself to the person’s facial expression and tone of voice.
To make the app experience even more realistic, all questions presented to the user are random and cannot be chosen beforehand. After each question is answered in video format and saved to the app’s "Saved Interviews" page, videos can be replayed for self-review or can be shared via Facebook or e-mail to receive valuable feedback from others. Mock Job Interview allows users to "See yourself as others see you" according to its slogan.
"It’s difficult to pinpoint exactly which mistakes we make during a job interview or understand what makes us look silly, inexperienced, or unprepared. However, when we can see our flaws for ourselves and prepare in a setting that accurately replicates an actual job interview, we can master the art and science of a successful job interview. We believe Mock Job Interview can help job seekers blow away the competition, which is crucial for landing those hard-to-come-by jobs," says co-founder Janet Ferguson.
