New – Totally Awesome LinkedIn iPad App – Updated For Android And iPhone Too

The LinkedIn app for iPhone and Android has been around for a while but this is the first time it’s migrated to the iPad but that’s not what we excited about, per se. Not only has it ported but it has been updated and the thing we are really jumping up and down about is the new calendar widget, come on we’re not that sad. This widget is really good, it pulls in appointments from your iPad’s calendar and displays the LinkedIn profiles of the people you’re planning to meet up with. Obviously the person you are meeting must have already of created a LinkedIn profile otherwise it won’t pick it up and you must use their full name on your calendar, nicknames and children’s profiles don’t cut the mustard,as you can see in the case of my son Jake who is due back from school tomorrow evening.

Take a look at my LinkedIn pages below and see how it interacts with the Calendar app.

You can download LinkedIn for iPad here, for free of course/download.

This update has also been included in the Android and iPhone versions of this app too. You can download/update those below with the following links:

By clicking on Mike’s profile we can find out more about him, as if we didn’t know! But you get the gist.
