Aviary Secures $6M Investment To Become ‘industry standard for photo-editing apps’

Whilst running an incredibly competent web widget, Aviary have also recently launched Android and iOS apps just a few weeks ago. The company is ploughing ahead with the view to being ‘the industry standard for photo-editing APIs”.

Well, the $6M little nest egg is going to become very useful to Aviary, it came according to AllThingsD, from Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, among others.

Aviary has recently partnered with Flickr, MailChimp, Shopify, Box, TwitPic and Halftone and this investment will go towards their continued expansion.
