Pixol for iPhone – App Giveaway!
Pixol launched today, essentially it’s a photographic puzzle game allowing you to play on Instagram with up to 25 players and 120 images. This is a developing app and we’re sure it will grow considerably. Twenty five photographers have already contributed images to create these puzzles, many of these artists are known to us, including Geri Centonza (@gericentonza) and Mextures developer Merek Davis (@merekdavis) for example. We’ll be publishing a review of this app very soon.

Joanne Carter is a British photographer, photography journalist, editor and curator and the founder and editorial director of TheAppWhisperer.com, an independent international photography publication established in 2009.Her journalism, criticism and commentary have appeared in The Times, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Financial Times, BBC, Vogue Italia, LensCulture, Popular Photography, Android Magazine, NikonPro, DPReview, Which Digital Camera and Which Camera. Hi Joanne – No need to put me in the running for a promo code as I already have the app. It’s a fun and challenging puzzle game. I’m always looking at my Instagram feed and this is a nice switch from just scrolling through. I’m thankful to Stefano who included my images in the app =)

As to theappWhisperer.com, it is the new Encyclopaedia Britannica of mobile photography. Everything about mobile photography in one form or manner is profiled or exhibited here. Hands-down!
