Provoke Camera – New iOS Photography App – We Have Promo Codes To Share!

Provoke Camera is a brand new iOS Photography app from the developers of Nofinder and MPro. It has been developed in collaboration with Glyn Evans. Inspired by Japanese photographers of the late 1960’s like Daido Moriyama, Takuma Nakahira and Yutaka Takanashi, Provoke Camera does just one thing, produce black and white images with that gritty, grainy, blurry look reminiscent of the “Provoke” era of photography, and in two great formats; square format 126 and 35mm format 135.

Provoke Camera features six great black and white live view effects, in two wonderful film formats, 126 [1:1] and 135 [3:2]:

1. High Contrast
2. Normal
3. Low Contrast
4. Darken with Blur (4Pixel)
5. High Contrast with Blur(4Pixel)
6. +1.5EV with Blur(4Pixel)

Provoke Camera retails for $0.99/£0.69 but we have been given some promo codes to share with our most loyal readers. Would you like one? Provoke Camera looks like a camera app I would like to have and use so I hope you will send me a promo code.

  • Tracy Mitchell Griggs

I would like to see a “user” forum with impressions about a new “app” that displays images and offers opinions. Also, why don’t you release a technical overview of the app along with the basic news release? Having a third party review would go a long way toward assisting readers decide whether an app is either worth the money or one that would fit with individual style/workflow.

What do I like about theappwhisperer.com? They are the only site that has consistent updates on news and apps. I check in daily.

  • Chris

The Appwhisperer constantly delivers great news on new apps, that’s why it’s in my home screen

I just say Tracy’s comment about the development of a user column, where we can provide samples and comments about new applications and I think it is a great idea. For I was disappointed in VideoHance and what it offered considering the price and for being low-res like Cinamatic. I will add in their defence, both applications were designed of social media only.

As for the new release of Provoke Camera, I am excited since MPro I feel is still the best B/W iOS application and it is great to see him expand and allow us to repeat history .

So thank you Joanna for bringing this to our attention and the opportunity for a redemption code.

Japanese photography of the late ’60 is so brilliant, that naming the app Provoke, trying to reproduce those blurry, grungy Black and White style, is really intriguing.
Thank you Joanne for all the great news and articles (and free codes!).

  • Denise

What I like most? Everything. What I like less? More and more apps on my iPhone, less and less time to dedicate to things I used to do because all these new presented apps want to be tested and used.
