TheAppWhisperer – APPart – ‘Infinite Challenge #1’ by Bobbi McMurry

Welcome to our APPart Infinite Challenge #1 results. This challenge was an attempt to illustrate how infinite the possible solutions are to any given image. Variations within the artist’s style, the applications used, the artist’s perceptions and intent are just some of the factors that influence the results. We asked the members of our Facebook group to choose one of two images provided by Stef LP as a starting point. From there, new photos could be added, and any app could be used. Huge thanks to the following APPartists who chose to participate: Giulia Baita, David Henry, Dieter Gaebel, Headattacks Crealitys, Stef LP, Diana Nicholette Jeon, Violet Martins, Deborah McMillion

APPart is an active and growing community of artists who create with apps, please join us!

I added a couple of my photos and used the apps, ArtStudio, iColorama, ImageBlender, Diana, Stackables, and Leonardo…”

David Henry

I chose the second of Stef ‘s images. I worked on it in Snapseed and iColorama, mainly the latter – using Mirror, Simplify, Distort and probably a few other features along the way”.

Deborah McMillion

“Parlor Game. I multiplied and blended Stef on a cylinder in SBP. I used Mirage for the perspective image on table. Over for the words”.

Diana Nicholette Jeon

I combined the image with my images using Diana. Then I used Pixelmatr, Procreate, iColorama, Stackables and Diana again. I couldn’t begin to say more than that, I did not have any intent, I was just playing around”.

Dieter Gaebel

Giulia Baita

“I used Fragment, XnView Fx and Repix“.

Headattacks Crealitys

“I‘ve edited with Paper Artist and iColorama. In my Center is a human. feeling and living the music of inward”.

Stef LP

First was resizing to portrait. Using pic say pro i bulged the belly area and stretched the lower part. I went into Superimpose. Using three of my photos i superimposed them working opacity. Masking out areas accordingly. I superimposed the final image to get some difference in layer. Opacity brought way down. I tweaked in snapseed but wasn’t satisfied. Opted to take it into my iPad. Used iColorama -coherence 1- 35  Luts -? Enhance -? Low opacities  Finished with pastel”.

The title:

‘She took her dancing serious. Even though she had duck feet’.

Violet Martins

“I have Decimated Stef Lp with one of my own creation filter”.
