Brand New Mobile Photography iOS App – FiLMiC Firstlight
I am very pleased to announce the launch of this brand new photo app, FiLMiC Firstlight, from the team at FiLMiC Pro – not only did I impart a tiny bit of my own knowledge into it’s development (but don’t let that put you off), it’s an app that’s incredibly user friendly and perfect for image capture. It comes with a comprehensive set of advanced image controls including Auto Exposure mode for setting up shutter/iso combinations. There’s cross-swipe manual controls, allowing you to have the ultimate control over focus and exposure, if you desire. There’s more too with reactive analytics – this is something that set apart FiLMiC Pro in the app store and it’s good to see it here in FiLMiC Firstlight. When manually adjusting your focus and exposure it will automatically apply focus peaking or zebra stripes to ensure you capture, what you’re aiming to do. There are also various film simulations realistically mimicking authentic film stocks and of course from a serious image capture app, there are professional camera tools, including burst mode, timer, flash and lots more.
This is a free to download app but in order to unlock the full potential, you need to agree to a paid subscription. The fee for this is nominal. – A subscription is available for purchase within the app for unlimited access to all device-supported features and content.
– Monthly and yearly subscriptions are available. Yearly subscriptions are offered at a discounted rate as compared to twelve months of the monthly subscription. Details are available from within the app.
– Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the selected subscription plan. All subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled with 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period. The subscription fee is charged to your iTunes account at the time of purchase.
