Not mobile, despite the ‘M’ 😉 this new magazine from Leica features some wonderfully inspiring images. It’s available in various formats, print, Android and iOS. This is one of a series of magazines that Leica produce, there’s also the S-Magazine focusing on the Leica S-System – it’s a platform for professional photographers to introduce their current projects for free. Leica C Image Shuttle – New For iOS
If you’re lucky enough to own a Leica C (Typ 112) compact digital camera then this new app will allow you to use functions such as: Remote control – including a Live View pciture of hte camera on your iOS device, browse and display images saved to your card, control shooting and image settings as well as up/download images between your camera and device. Jony Ive To Design New Leica M Camera
Well, we are not surprised by this news but definitely excited. We’ve known for many years how Apple feels about Leica cameras and so it was no surprise to learn at Leica’s special event last night at Photokina (where theappwhisperer is right now) that Dr Andreas Kaufmann from Leica announced they’ve got a very special limited edition version of the Leica M planned, one that will be designed by Jony Ive – Senior Vice President, Industrial Design at Apple.
