    Would Henri Cartier-Bresson Have Used A Smartphone?

    Theresa Malone from The Guardian has written an interesting piece in the paper today. She poses the question of ‘would Henri Cartier-Bresson have used a camera phone?’. It is of course a very topical subject, not speifically regarding Henri Cartier-Bresson but for all professional photographers. Many grumble that smartphone photography is not ‘real’ photography although many also embrace it for what it is, convenience. No smartphone is a Leica, don’t get me wrong but I can’t help but agree with the conclusion of this piece, that possibly in all certainty, he may well of picked out a Smartphone to use and captured some brillant images I’m sure.
