Mobile Photography and Art to many, is still in its infancy. However, when viewing this weeks flickr group showcase, even the most judgemental moralist will realise that true human goodness, in all of its purity and freedom, is present here. This showcase must be judged in terms of art, not of its moral, social or political weight. Look for the naked physiognomy that is revealed in each image. This art is a pleasure for all of us that get to view it, the mystery of the imagery, enables us to share one of the many thrilling experiences that this medium brings to us all. Enjoy! Mobile Photography & Art – The Courage to be Afraid – Showcase for Carolyn Hall Young
Recently, I set up a Facebook group entitled – The Courage to be Afraid – A Tender Tribute to Human Valiance with Carolyn Hall Young. Hall Young is our dear friend and hugely talented artist and many of you are aware that she is currently experiencing particularly challenging health issues. This group was made with love and is full of love from all the artists who have joined this group to create and share their images for her. Mobile Photography & Art Flickr Group Showcase – 26 June 2016
“Never say you know the last word about any human heart”, a quotation by Henry James from the rich tapestry of a book I am currently reading, Any Human Heart by William Boyd. Art links all around us and we need to be able to tie it altogether, to make it whole. Human expression within this weeks mobile photography and art Flickr Group Showcase, speaks to us. Worldly wise, yet perilously frail, many of these images demonstrate the agony and ecstasy of love and life lived. This weeks showcase is a wholly humane romance and a worthy treat for all of us. Enjoy! If you would like your work to…

Mobile Photography / Art New Year Resolutions 2016 From Around The World
New Year Resolutions have a long history, the Babylonians pledged to return borrowed objects and repay their debts at the start of each year, while the Romans kicked off January by making a vow to the god Janus (from whom the month takes its name). As we have been repeating and updating this featured article now for several years, many artists have looked back and lamented at their broken promises but also as you read, you will see that many rejoice at the acomplishments that they have achieved. In assessing my goals for the New Year, I don’t list tasks, I analyze the optimal approaches in reaching those goals, breaking…
