Tutorial – How To Redeem A Promo Code In The iTunes Store

I guess it’s not surprising but with all the wonderful giveaways we are offering right now that some folk are unsure how to use their promo codes. I’ve created a quick tutorial to show you how to make use of these wonderful magical codes.

App Store

Firstly, just head over to the iTunes app store.

Sign in to your iTunes account and to the top right of the screen you will see your email account, hover over the down arrow and you will see four options, Account, Redeem, Wish List and Sign Out. Just click on Redeem in this instance.

Redeem Menu

You will then see the Redeem Code Menu, just cut and paste the code that I have sent you within the box and click on Redeem – your app will then start downloading. Just connect up your iPhone/iPad and it should be set by default to sync all new apps, and that’s it.

NB, there are several ways to redeem a code but this is probably the simplest and easiest. If you prefer though, you can do it directly on your iPhone/iPad. To do this, just go to App Store on your device, click on Featured, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Redeem – just cut and paste the code in and the app will download directly.
