iPad 3 To Ship With Siri – Rumor

We’re so pleased we set up our new Rumor section here at theappwhisperer hq as it’s getting very busy right now with all the iPad 3 and iPhone 5 rumors gaining momentum.

The latest is that the iPad 3 will ship with Siri voice control, a dual-core ‘A5X’ processor and a 1080p camera with image stabilization.

You can read more about this below…

AppleInsider are reporting this information from a Chinese microblogging site with information shared to Apple.pro via Google Translate.

So, what they are saying is that the iPad 3 has been pictured with a 9.7 inch front glass panel, which is a design pretty much the same as the iPad 2, as well as shipping with Siri the Apple’s ‘portable PA’. Image stabilization is something that’s already on the iPhone 4S so it would make sense to see that on the iPad 3.

The report also clarifies what we already believe, that the iPad 3 will ship with iOS 5.1 and will hit the US mid-March following the launch on March 7. The next countries to receive it will be, Japan and the UK with France and Germany following in April and Hong Kong right after that.

As always, keep in mind that these are rumors but keep checking back because as soon as we receive any clarification, our readers will be the first to know.
