Professional Portraiture With An iPhone
We were intrigued to read a recent article on PetaPixel in which they featured Philippe Echaroux, a French portrait photographer.
Philippe’s most recent project involved little more than an iPhone ,€10 lighting kit and Photoshop Touch for post processing and the results are really quite spectacular. You can read the full article on PetaPixel here and of course view the final image below and don’t miss the great video too.

It really comes down to knowing your tool set. The iPhone, and other camera phones for that matter, still blow me away at what they can capture. Truth be told, i am done with DSLRs. Who knows what Apple will do with the iPhone 5s ( if it is named that)and what it will be able to capture. It is not a toy, it is a new language for those who previously had to settle with film based disposables. I am looking forward to articles from you and your corral of gifted iPhonographers to continually inspire and amaze us.
