Outstanding Photography By Blind Photographer Craig Royal
Yes we know that title is going to promote a lot of comments but it is actually completely true, Craig Royal is legally blind and has been since birth. Craig is also an award-winning visually impaired fine art photographer and photo artist, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He received a professional fellowship from the Virginia Museum of Fine Art in 1983 after graduating from VCU.
We are picking up this story after we saw it via Facebook on the Visionaware.org site. Joanne Carter is a British photographer, photography journalist, editor and curator and the founder and editorial director of TheAppWhisperer.com, an independent international photography publication established in 2009.Her journalism, criticism and commentary have appeared in The Times, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Financial Times, BBC, Vogue Italia, LensCulture, Popular Photography, Android Magazine, NikonPro, DPReview, Which Digital Camera and Which Camera.
