Joanne Carter Celebrates With David Bailey, Heather Kerzner, Graham Norton and More…

Many of you may of seen a few of my images on Facebook last night of the event I attended at The Bulgari Hotel, Knightsbridge, London but I also know many of you are wondering what it was about, so I thought I tell you more, as it’s splashed in the nationals now too.

The event was organized by Samsung to celebrate the launch of their hot new Smart Camera the NX300. Bailey hosted a charity auction in aid of the Marie Curie Cancer Care organization and a number of his great works were auctioned off for thousands of pounds. Also, the organizers had found around twenty other people named David Bailey, from all walks of life, Staff Nurses, cyclists etc and asked them to test their NX300 too – these images were also auctioned last night.

There were some great celebrities there, not least Nettie Edwards (@Lumilyon) and myself but also Kate Moss, Graham Norton, Heather Kerzner, Sarah – Duchess of York and Princess Eugenie of York, Sir Philip Green and many more. It was a lovely evening…

    Joanne,

Nice to put names to faces..

One of my favorite BBC shows of all time takes place there, Quatermass and the Pit, from the late 50s. Being that i never been to England I could be talking out of my bum…

Celebtastic!! Wow Nikon really pulled out the A-list stops: Moss, York, Norton and Carter! Any of those photos taken with the Nikon I’m guessing? Would love to give it a spin if you have any spares?
