iOS 7 final release this fall/Autumn

You can share video, too, via iCloud Photo Sharing. Others can post into your photo stream as well.

Now we’re going to talk about Safari. There’s a "smart" search field, which will bring up your favorites when you tap it. Tabs are stacked vertically now. And, yes, it has iCloud keychain integration.

Multitasking for all apps in iOS 7 – The OS will monitor your usage habits and run apps automatically so that they’re ready to go when you launch them. So, keeping your news feed fresh in Facebook, for example

iOS Smartphone usage, 50 percent higher on the iPhone than on other platforms. Mobile web share is 60 percent for iOS vs. 24 percent for Android. "Just like iOS customers buy more of your incredible apps, they also apparently buy a lot of everything else."

iCloud deeply integrating into iWork – now talking iWork

Tim Cook is back and wants to talk iCloud- 300,000,000 iCloud accounts, making it "the fastest growing cloud service ever."

New Mac Pro – really small in size, big in performance – 1/8th the volume

New Mac Pros!!! ‘A machines unlike anything we’ve ever made inside and out’ – omg – it’s amazing 12-core Intel Xeon processor, 256-bit processor. ECC memory, 1,866MHz DDR3 memory. 60GBps performance. Flash storage, PCIe with 1.25GBps. "It’s 10 times faster than any hard drive you could put in a Mac Pro before." Everything is external over Thunderbolt 2, 20Gbps throughput, 6 devices per port and backwards compatible.

New AirPort Base Station – with a hard drive, so it can do Time Capsule, either 2 or 3TB. And, there’s beamforming for enhanced performance to a given device

New line of MacBook Air! brand new MacBook Airs – 11-inch is going from 5 hours of battery life up to 9! The 13-incher goes from 7 hours to 12!

iBooks comes to the Mac!

Maps – You can now send directions to your iPhone from the desktop app instantly, something that people are very excited about. Unlock your phone and you hop right into the nav. And, there’s an SDK so that devs can do the same.

Calendar improvements too – and Maps improvements! ‘the Maps team is making fantastic updates…’

Notifications improvements – you can reply to Twitter message instantly within the notification and delete emails instantly – auto reply to FaceTime call.

iCloud Keychain – Safari wil auto-suggest passwords – very secure, credit cards an be saved – not the security code.

They’re talking about Safari and that it’s 1.44x faster than Chrome and is way faster and uses one third of the energy of Firefox.

Demonstrating now – ‘"Now that I have multiple tabs, it’s a really great way to actually work and copy documents." Just grab files, hover over a tab and you can drop them wherever you like’

OS X Mavericks – new finder tabs – Tags – add tags for a document when you sve it – third – multiple displays – menus across multiple displays

Tim is back up now…WWDC – Tim Cook – 72 million Mac Users now – doubled within five years. The iMac number 1 desktop in the US.
