Competition – iProLens – ‘Express Your City’

Last week we announced that we would be featuring a photo competition every single day within our brand new Competitions category – maximising the opportunities you have to enter great contests and not to miss them. Today, we’re featuring the latest competition by iProLens entitled ‘Express Your City’.

The Judges are looking for some great images of your City and there’s some great prizes up for grabs (see below). To enter you need to upload your image to Instagram using this hashtag #ipromycity for a chance at weekly and grand prizes (this is on ongoing competition).

The winning photos will be selected by one of the guest judges: celebrity photographer and director Mike Miller, popular LA photographer Estevan Oriol, Cypress Hill front-man B Real, and singer/ songwriter Everlast.

Dates: July 15- August 10, 2013

Grand Prize: One winner will receive a Series 2 Trio Kit, a custom-made OtterBox phone case specifically designed to fit the iPro lenses, and autographed merchandise from a guest judge.

Weekly Prizes: Each week one winner will receive an iPro t-shirt and autographed merchandise from a guest judge.

Joanne Carter is a British photography journalist, editor, curator, and the founder of *TheAppWhisperer.com*, one of the world’s leading platforms dedicated to mobile photography and art. Since its launch in 2009, TheAppWhisperer has become an international hub for artists of all levels to discover, learn, exhibit, and engage with contemporary photographic practice.Built on principles of inclusivity, accessibility, and artistic excellence, Joanne has spent almost two decades championing mobile photography as a serious artistic medium. Through interviews, critical essays, exhibitions, competitions, and education, she has helped shape and document the evolution of mobile art on a global scale.Her work has taken her internationally, lecturing on photography and mobile art at institutions and events including the Museum of Art in Seoul, South Korea, alongside appearances in the UK and Europe.
