Simon King At The Manfrotto School of Xcellence – Webinar

The Manfrotto School of Xcellence, Manfrotto’s dedicated online educational platform, is pleased to present local hero and wildlife photographer Simon King for an hour-long webinar session on Thursday 26th September at 16:00.

Simon will be sharing tips and tricks on how to attract and photograph wildlife close to home.  He will explain how to use a mix of professional photography gear and unusual household items to achieve great results.

As an accomplished wildlife photographer, Simon has great experience to share with anyone interested in photographing their wild surroundings. This free webinar will be an excellent opportunity to chat with a seasoned professional and learn some tricks of the trade.

Simon King is a multi award winning naturalist, conservationist, author and broadcaster. He is perhaps best known for presenting television series such as Big Cat Week and Springwatch, but is also one of the world’s most respected wildlife cameramen, with credits including Blue Planet, Planet Earth, Life and many more. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and in 2010 he was awarded the OBE for services to wildlife photography and conservation.

Joanne Carter is a British photography journalist, editor, curator, and the founder of *TheAppWhisperer.com*, one of the world’s leading platforms dedicated to mobile photography and art. Since its launch in 2009, TheAppWhisperer has become an international hub for artists of all levels to discover, learn, exhibit, and engage with contemporary photographic practice.Built on principles of inclusivity, accessibility, and artistic excellence, Joanne has spent almost two decades championing mobile photography as a serious artistic medium. Through interviews, critical essays, exhibitions, competitions, and education, she has helped shape and document the evolution of mobile art on a global scale.Her work has taken her internationally, lecturing on photography and mobile art at institutions and events including the Museum of Art in Seoul, South Korea, alongside appearances in the UK and Europe.
