The Photographer’s Transit – Our Daily App Giveaway

We’re delighted to offer our loyal readers copies of a new app, The Photographer’s Transit today, each worth $4.99/£2.99. This app has been created by the developers Crookneck Consulting, of The Photographer’s Ephemeris fame.

‘The Photographer’s Transit (“Photo Transit”) is a map-based shot planning tool for outdoor photographers who use interchangeable lens cameras (such as SLRs). Plan the best possible camera, lenses and shooting locations for your photo trip or assignment using the sophisticated built-in field of view simulator.

Photo Transit includes detailed elevation profile information so you can scout your sightlines ahead of time, and check whether your planned focal length will capture your subject. Photo Transit’s vertical field of view chart lets you see if your subject will be visible or obstructed by the local terrain’.

If you would like to try this app for free, just join our ever expanding Twitter followers and Facebook fans, RETWEET THIS POST and send a reply to the bottom of this page telling us what you love most about theappwhisperer.com. We will select winners at random from the selection of codes that we have and send them directly to your email box.

Theappwhisperer is one of the easiest sites I have found to find information on mobile device photograph from every facet of this new expression both of technology and art. The content is structured very fluid. All links work which is a big deal considering how many sites you get blank pages. (404)
Every since I found theappwhisperer I check it religiously to see what is the latest news on mobile photography.

Truly one of the best sites I’ve found hands down.

Thank you for putting all the time you Joanne and your collaborators into making this such a fine site.
