iOS Photography App – Chalkspiration Now Available For iOS
Chalkspiration became available for Mac on 6 December, see here, and we’re delighted to see that it’s now available for iOS both on the iPhone and iPad. Chalkspiration has been developed by the incredible competent and copious app developer JixiPix, developers of the very popular apps including Dramatic Black & White, Grungetastic, Moku Hanga, PhotoArtista to name a few.
‘Chalkspiration starts by automatically converting your image to chalky outlines with light shading then allows you to place objects from a library of included flourishes, banners, embellishments and fonts. To get started, choose one of our ready to customize preset templates; or create your own using tools from within the app that will add images and clipart then allow you to resize, flip, rotate and duplicate them exactly the way you want’.

Joanne Carter is a British photographer, photography journalist, editor and curator and the founder and editorial director of TheAppWhisperer.com, an independent international photography publication established in 2009.Her journalism, criticism and commentary have appeared in The Times, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Financial Times, BBC, Vogue Italia, LensCulture, Popular Photography, Android Magazine, NikonPro, DPReview, Which Digital Camera and Which Camera.
