New Carousel Photo App by Dropbox – Designed To Organise Your Images…
Carousel is designed as a gallery for all your photos and videos, it combines the photos in your Dropbox with the photos on your phone, and automatically backs up new ones as you take them. Carousel sorts all these memories by event so you can easily travel back in time to any photo from any date.
Carousel isn’t constrained by the space on your phone and this perhaps is Dropbox’s main push for Carousel. Freeing up storage on your smartphone (Carousel is available on both IOS and Android platforms), the company sees this as a more viable solution to automatic syncing of mobile photos. Flickr currently offers 1TB of free storage though and of course there’s also Google with the Google+ app. Dropbox gives each user 2GB of free storage but charges $9.99/£6.99 every month per 100GB of storage purchased.

Joanne Carter is a British photography journalist, editor, curator, and the founder of *TheAppWhisperer.com*, one of the world’s leading platforms dedicated to mobile photography and art.
