Cinamatic Mobile Competition with Los Cabos Tourism Board!

Buoyed from surpassing their first one million user mark, Cinamatic now have the facilities in place to partner with brands to create beautiful content.

To kick off the next phase, the innovative mobile video creator is launching an In-App contest partnering with the Los Cabos Tourism Board. This is the first major partnership for Cinamatic. 

The resulting campaign, #Ticket2Cabo, has been created to launch Los Cabos International Film Festival taking place in the destination November 12 – 16, 2014. 

By joining the campaign, Cinamatographers in the US & Canada will have the opportunity to win a trip for two to Los Cabos during the upcoming Film Festival including VIP passes to the Festival, a 5-day / 4-night stay at Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort & Spa, and round-trip airfare. 

“We are thrilled to be Cinamatic’s first brand partner,” said Eduardo Segura, Los Cabos Tourism Board Managing Director, “The Los Cabos International Film Festival is a very important event in the destination and we are thrilled to have a partner of this caliber on-board to support the event and help spread the word to consumers in the US & Canada.” 

TO ENTER: Creatives should download the Cinamatic application to their iPhone, which can be found free of charge in the Apple App Store, and shoot a short (15 seconds or less) video relating to the theme “travel”. Once a filter is selected and the video is processed, users can enter the contest by clicking on the “contest trophy” icon and should follow the prompts for their image to be posted to Instagram with the required hashtag #Ticket2Cabo and @Cinamaticapp tag. Getting “likes” is the best way to get noticed as the five videos with the highest “likes” will be voted on by representatives from the Tourism Board and the winner will be announced on October 6th.

Contest submissions are being accepted now through September 29. Following the submission period Instagram users will be able to continue voting until October 5th. The winning video will be announced on October 6th via the Los Cabos Tourism Board Instagram page.
