Another iOS Photography App Giveaway – TinType by Hipstamatic – New – TheAppWhisperer

Yesterday we announced availability of this new app, TinType by Hipstamatic in the Apple App Store and today we are very pleased to offer codes to download it (if you haven’t purchased it already).

TinType has some great effects but it has caused some controversy with difficulties associated with saving an original file after editing a copy.  Hipstamatic are working on this and are aware of the demand for this feature, we hope they incorporate it into an update soon.

If you would like to be in with a chance to win a promo code for TinType, all we ask is for you to reply to this post telling us what you love most about theappwhisperer.com (we know how hard it is to narrow it down to one thing and also retweet or FB this post). That’s it, we’ll enter your details into our magic hat and if you’re a winner, a code will soon be sitting in your inbox.

TinType retails for $0.99/£0.69 and if you prefer you can download it here

Far away, in Portugal, I’ve just recently discovered theappwhisperer.com (big, big fail :-), I know), but you made a boom and are now my “go to” website and facebook page to discover or to know more about all the fresh (and worthy) apps out there. I’ve been an avid hipstamatic photographer and have got several of their apps, so I’d be really pleased if you could choose me as a winner of one of those “gold” codes 😉 Thanks and keep up the good job!

But honestly now: INSPIRATION! …is only the first name of it. I have found so many great artists through this forum and I’m very sorry I didn’t get involved earlier, cause I’d probably be a pro by now, if had done it back then when discovered mobilephotography!
    INSPIRATION & KNOWLEDGE

I come to the AppWhisperer because it’s all about mobile photography. What’s not to love? Of course, winning a code for TinType would be the icing on the cake. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I purchased the app immediately, and love what it can do. It has great potential. I have to say, though, that it seems buggy as hell. Since the first update, it doesn’t work at all on my iPhone–just hangs and hangs. Before that, it worked OK, but when syncing images from iPhone to iPad or Mac, the synced versions had all the effects stripped out. No way to save the tintype images, in other words. I hope they’re working on bug fixes. Right now it’s unusable on my iPhone6. By the way, this app requires iOS8; lots of complaints on that restriction, I’ve noticed.

What I love most about you guys is that you’re a such a huge help for someone like me who loves to take pictures using my iPhone. Teaches me a lot on how to make the photos better, what app to use to make it more lively, tips and trick to be better, and many more! And for that, thank you so much!
