Mobile Photography – Instagram TAKEOVER with @gilliannb – Gillian Brodie – Days 8 – 14

Wow!!! What an incredible fortnight it has been with @gilliannb – Gillian Brodie taking over our Instagram feed! Her vision, curation and commentary has been exemplary, we have loved every post and have published these from day 8 to 14 below. Brodie has included images from Ile Mont, Karen Axelrad, Tuba, Eliza Badoiu, Janis Brandenburg, Amanda Parker, Robin Cohen, Lorenka Campos, Alexis Rotella, Patricia Leeds, Laurie Amerson and Elaine Taylor, all great and established mobile artists. Later on day 8 @gilliannb writes, “I am really loving this very clever homage to Rauschenberg by @iphotami an extra bonus is the american flag in the background, I’m not sure if this is Jasper John’s flag (which was very controversial in it’s day) but it certainly seems to carry a timely though subtle message”.

Later on day 8 @gilliannb writes “final pic for today from me @gilliannb as I enjoy my second week of being @theappwhisperer This dreamy image from @to_be whispers to me of exotic & far away places and the sense of mystery is deepened by the lovely blurriness & swirling colours.

Today I have chosen this stunning portrait by the uber talented @elizabadoiu I am a huge admirer of Eliza’s dreamy, sophisticated & elegant images and to me this self portrait brings to mind the glamorous movie sirens of days gone by !
