HONOR Research Reveals What the World is Looking Forward to in 2022

HONOR Launches Next Phase of its HONOR Your Smile Brand Campaign

London, UK, January 7, 2022 – HONOR, a leading global provider of smart devices, today revealed new global research highlighting the top things that people are most looking forward to in 2022 as part of its HONOR Your Smile global brand campaign.

2022 Priorities: Reconnecting with People, Wanderlust and Wellness

Following prolonged periods of isolation, the research of over 8,000 respondents from around the world[1] revealed being with family topped the list of things people are most looking forward to in 2022. Spending time with friends (32%), capturing new memories with friends or family (29%) and looking forward to seeing loved ones again after lockdowns (21%) also made the top ten, highlighting the power of human connection and being reunited with loved ones.

Escapism is top of the agenda for many around the world, with going on holiday (39%), being able to travel (36%) and experiencing different cultures (16%) all making the top ten list of must-have moments for 2022.

Other key takeaways from the research included a consumer focus on wellness for both people and the planet. One quarter of respondents (26%) said they want to achieve a new health or fitness goal in 2022, while 23% of those surveyed said they are hoping for a brighter future for the environment in 2022.

Celebrating Family with the HONOR Magic Moment Photography Challenge

Supporting the research findings, HONOR unveiled the next topic for its HONOR Magic Moment Challenge, an ongoing monthly smartphone photography competition for HONOR’s global community. The first challenge of 2022 will focus on the topic of family, the number one moment the survey found people are most looking forward to in 2022.

The HONOR Magic Moment “Family” Challenge has three award categories and prizes including: one HONOR 50 Lite for the “Excellence Award” winner, one HONOR Watch 2 for the “Pioneer Award” winner and one HONOR Talents special gift for the “Most Potential Award” winner. The deadline to submit entries for the HONOR Magic Moment “Family” Challenge is January 11, 2022, 12:59 PM GMT+8 and winners will be announced on January 15, 2022.
