Apple has just revealed the latest iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, poised to transform smartphone photography. These new models are powered by the advanced A18 chip, designed to enhance your photography experience and prolong battery life.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have groundbreaking camera capabilities that completely change how you capture and relive your most cherished moments. The new Camera Control feature makes it incredibly intuitive to take the perfect shot. With a touch, you can launch the camera, adjust settings, and snap photos or record videos without hassle.
The outstanding 48MP Fusion camera, now with a 2x Telephoto option, ensures exceptional photo quality, offering the benefits of two cameras in one. Additionally, the new 12MP Ultra Wide camera with autofocus is perfect for macro photography, allowing you to capture intricate details up close.
The spatial photo and video capture feature through Apple Vision Pro provides stunning depth, allowing you to relive your treasured memories. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have introduced Next-generation Photographic Styles, which offer more ways to express creativity. You can adjust colour, highlights, and shadows in real time or apply and modify styles after taking photos, allowing for personalised images.
In addition to its innovative camera features, the models also come with an Action button, providing quick access to your favourite functions, including opening the camera, toggling the flashlight, or switching to Silent mode with a single press. The Action button can also work with third-party apps such as FordPass for car control. Apple’s new A18 chip improves overall performance and efficiency, ensuring smooth operation whether playing advanced games or using other features.
The chip also significantly boosts battery life, allowing you to enjoy all these features without constantly needing to charge your phone. Both models boast a sleek design and are available in five striking colours: black, white, pink, teal, and ultramarine. They are built to last with industry-leading durability, including a tough Ceramic Shield and water and dust resistance.
The Super Retina XDR display with OLED technology ensures vibrant and clear visuals for photos, videos, and games. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will be available for pre-order from Friday, 13th September, with the official release on Friday, 20th September. The iPhone 16 starts at $799 (U.S.) or $33.29 (U.S.) per month, while the iPhone 16 Plus starts at $899 (U.S.) or $37.45 (U.S.) per month. Customers in over 58 countries and regions, including the UK, can pre-order starting this Friday, with availability extending to additional regions on 27th September.
