Twitter Adds Photo Filters To Android Mobile App – iOS Version To Follow
We knew Twitter would be launching an all out war shortly with Instagram and Facebook and this is just the start. So far only for the Android version of Twitter has updated to include photo filters. The iOS version is due to follow on shortly. Aviary are the powerhorses behind this update, very much as they were for Flickr earlier in the year.
There are currently eight filters available for the Android version right now. You select a filter by comparing all your options in a convenient grid view or by swiping through each version. There’s the facility to make your photos pop with balanced light and colors by tapping the quick fix wand and you can crop and scale to frame the action the way you want to.
This update is free as is the app, you can download the Android version here. We’ll let you know as soon as this hits iOS too.
