Joanne Carter – TheAppWhisperer Speaks at The Photography Show 2015 – Seminar 2

Yesterday I published details of my first talk at The Photography Show 2015, if you missed that (and it was in two parts, please go here and here).  Today, I am publishing details of the Second Talk on Day 1.  In Talk 2 I wanted to inform the audience of some of the main genres of mobile photography and the specific columns on TheAppWhisperer.com we have, to entice our readers.

During the preparation for the Show I contacted MaryJane Sarvis (who edits our mobile macro column), Bobbi McMurry (who edits our APPart column), Jennifer Bracewell (who edits our portraiture column) and Cara Gallardo Weil with Gina Costa (who edit our StreetsAhead column) if they could create a video explaining more about how their Columns integrate within TheAppWhisperer and to also, most importantly, pick out specific artists work of merit.

All of our columnists created absolutely fabulous videos, doing exactly as I had asked and adding their own unique individuality to each video. I have embedded each video below from Talk 2, before I played each one, I introduced the Columnist and explained a little more about the relevant Column. Each video played out on stage on a flat screen display, the audio was loud and all made a huge impact. Each member of the audience was in awe, the audience grew and grew with more people gathering as we continued within our time schedule.

This is the order the videos were played at The Photography Show 2015…

Fabulous videos, no wonder people were stunned, I am, and I have seen a lot of the pictures before. And there are one or two people I have somehow missed and will start following. Well done all.

Interesting blend of information. Hope the show was successful.

Was there audio on the Portraiture slideshow? There was audio on other presentations but did not seem to be any on that one.

I was surprised to see one of my images used in the portrait presentation – thanks. Would have been nice to see attribution on images used, though am sure there might not have been time to type artist name on each image for these short slide shows.
